Who we are
MotherScan Private Clinic is run by MotherScan Health Ltd, 17 Green Lanes, London N16 9BS. We have two clinics: 7 Approach Road, Raynes Park, London SW20 8BA, and 117 Holloway Road, London N7 8LT. For any privacy question, email admin@motherscan.co.uk.
What we collect and why
We collect your contact details, booking details, payment records and health information, such as your pregnancy details, scan images, reports and test results. We use this to book your appointment, carry out your scan or test, send your results and keep the records the law requires. We only send you news and offers if you agree, and you can stop them at any time. We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with trusted providers who help us run the clinic, such as our booking, accounting, payment, website and laboratory providers. If a scan finding needs follow-up, we may share it with your GP, midwife or hospital. We will only share it with anyone else where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Scan reports, images and test results: 2 years
- Invoices and payment records: 1 years
- Emails: deleted within one month.
Your report is sent to you by email as a PDF, so please save a copy. Any email information relevant to your care is added to your clinical record before the email is deleted. If you need a copy of an old report, please contact admin@motherscan.co.uk.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Some clinical records must be kept by law, and we will explain if this applies. To make a request, email admin@motherscan.co.uk. We will reply within one month. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
